Our Team
Dr. Greg Spooner, DPT
Dr. Spooner, DPT is a powerhouse in the world of physical therapy and a co-owner of Fiziologix Physical Therapy clinic. With a reputation as one of the top therapists on Bainbridge Island, Greg brings a unique blend of expertise, passion, athleticism and heart to his practice.
As a lifelong athlete and a movement specialist, Greg’s journey to becoming a physical therapist was fueled by his own love for nature, adventure, sports and a genuine desire to help others pursue their passions by staying active, injury free and strong. Whether it's treating a professional athlete or a weekend warrior, Greg approaches each client with a holistic and a unique perspective, addressing not just the symptoms but also the underlying causes of their condition and needs.
Beyond his clinical skills, Greg’s friendly disposition, genuine care and compassion set him apart. He treats every client like a member of his own family, taking the time to listen and understand their needs. Whether it's through hands-on therapy, personalized exercise programs, or innovative modalities, Greg is committed to delivering the best possible care and helping his clients achieve their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Greg’s passion for staying active and healthy knows no bounds. He’s always moving. An avid long-distance runner and rower, he holds a Guinness World Record racing in a rowboat across the Atlantic from NY to UK, a 72 day journey. Running a 50k race is no longer a challenge, now he’s training for a 50mi running race in the Olympics with a few friends. But it's not just about breaking personal records for Greg – he finds joy and fulfillment in the simple act of movement and challenging himself, whether he's pounding the pavement, sprinting through the local forests or gliding across the water.
And when he's not pushing his physical limits, Greg indulges in another passion: air drumming. With an infectious enthusiasm and a killer sense of rhythm, he transforms his downtime into epic air drumming sessions, channeling his inner rock star with every beat.
In Greg Spooner you'll find more than just a physical therapist – you'll find a dedicated healer, a passionate athlete, and a true friend. Whether you're seeking relief from pain, recovering from injury, or striving to reach your peak performance, Greg is there to guide you every step of the way.
