Should you keep your PT appointment if you’re experiencing acute pain?
Physical Therapy heals and helps manage pain. If your pain is acute and you aren’t sure if you should keep your PT visit, we encourage you to come in for tailored care or contact us 48 hours before your appointment with any concerns.
Dr. Spooner, DPT will adjust your treatment with hands on therapeutic modalities or a PT massage to help relieve or reduce pain, spasms and any other discomfort, show you what to do at home if it happens again, and make changes to your plan of care.
